The proposal is to alter and extend the existing building to create 9 dwellings, increase the height of the existing roof pitch on the south elevation and form new windows, install gates at either end of the ground floor arcade and, install ancillary plant and equipment. It includes the construction of a third story with 9 residential flats in the second and third storeys, shop signage; public realm improvements including surface finishes; internal alterations to shop unit configuration; insertion of new staircase and lift for improved access to residential floors; and internal alterations to existing residential units.

The development will have 19 residential and 5 commercial units in total.
